Born on August 6, 1982 in Boston, Massachusetts, Ryan Sypek has in a short amount of time shown audiences his naturalistic acting abilities in such television shows as HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, the ABC family show GREEK, WILDFIRE and the feature film PRIVATE VALENTINE: BLONDE AND DANGEROUS starring Jessica Simpson. His breakout role was as “Junior Davis” in WILDFIRE (though he actually originally auditioned for the role of “Matt Ritter”) – a television show that he appeared on from 2005 to 2008. Before hie got his big break, he was a valet car attendant at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Having tons of charm and good looks isn’t enough in Hollywood. In this town, you gotta have talent.
Clearly, Ryan Sypek is the real deal. At Boston University, he dazzled in various acting roles, including THE MERCHANT OF VENICE and THE GRAPES OF WRATH, as well as playing the lead “Jack” in THE ROSE TATTOO. Next up for Ryan is his appearance in the new television series, SQUATTERS, which will premiere in April 2010. Ryan will be in the show’s first three episodes at least. Also on the horizon is the upcoming feature film THE LAST HARBOR, a mystery about a Boston police officer (played by Wade Williams) who decides to finish out his career in Salem Harbor, where he becomes sheriff. He’s immediately has to contend with the mysterious death of an upper class teen who’s found dead after a night of heavy partying.
Ryan currently lives in Los Angeles.
